1. Bitly
Bitly is an extension tool that allows you to take long links and shorten them to be less of an eyesore. Many are probably familiar with Bitly as you have seen them while browsing the web. I am sure many of you have used Bitly before but at their main website that can take some additional time. The extension makes creating short links so quick and easy I consider it a must! For example, I can take this link (https://www.facebook.com/

2. Grammarly
Grammarly is something I can’t live without! Grammarly is essentially a beefed-up version of spellcheck, that not only checks spelling but also looks at proper grammar, sentence flow, readability, etc. Honestly, everyone should use Grammarly even if you are not in digital marketing. This extension works across almost all websites when using Google Chrome. That means those embarrassing typos that are sent across emails can be prevented! Personally, I love Grammarly when creating social media posts for businesses as Grammarly gives an extra level of proofreading automatically. With that being said, Grammarly is not 100% at catching mistakes so I would always still proofread yourself. Another thing to consider is the free version versus the premium version. The free version does A LOT but premium comes with some nice features such as advanced grammar checks and the ability to set your tone. I recommend you check it out for yourself and see which version works best for you!

3. WordTune
WordTune is my secret to beating writer’s block. If you are anything like me when writing sometimes you know exactly what to say but the way you are wording it just doesn’t flow right. WordTune takes the sentences or paragraphs you have written and gives you multiple options of different ways to word them. It will adjust adjectives, verbs, and sentence structure in your sentences. My favorite part of WordTune is the fact it gives you multiple options to choose from. That way you can pick which option matches your writing style the best. I personally love this when writing AD copy, website copy, and social media posts as at times I get lost in how to say what I am trying to communicate. WordTune has a free and premium version so I encourage you to see which works best for you!

4. ColoZilla
ColorZilla is a simple yet useful extension that allows you to get color codes from any part of a webpage. I love using this when creating content as it is a fast and accurate way to match colors. Think of the eyedropper tool in Photoshop, but for your Google Chrome web browser. If you find yourself spending unnecessary time trying to find color codes I highly recommend this extension.

5. Facebook Pixel Helper
The Facebook Pixel Helper extension makes the final spot on our useful extensions list. Facebook Pixel Helper is a tool that allows you to check the status of a Pixel on any webpage. It will show you a detailed overview of the page’s pixels, including warnings, errors, and successes. This provides real-time information that can be used when checking the status of your pixels. I like to use this, occasionally to make sure everything is running smoothly.
